"BEDLAM in BOSTON 2018"** Super-Saturday Showdown LIVE from Brockton MA! ** [Saturday June 30th 2018]Authors Note: It's an oft-told origin story, but worth repeating tonight at our signature event of the year. Mash-Up Wrestling was created in 1963 by Boston sports writers looking for a way to kill time in between big events. What started as a rotisserie league eventually morphed into the space-age juggernaut we know it as now. From Dream Matches like Thesz/Sammartino and Cena/Hogan all the way to contemporary match-ups like Tessa Blanchard/Alexa Bliss... Broken City Championship Wrestling by MadStepDad has been on the cutting-edge of Fight-Fiction history.
This weekend - we celebrate our grand legacy on the biggest stage in Mash-Up Wrestling. After touring the continental United States, Canada and beyond - BCCW finally returns back to where it all began. Back HOME in Beantown! Ladies and gentleman, this is "Bedlam in Boston 2018!!" Let the Duck Boat Parade begin! We start our Weekend of Festivities on Saturday Night in Brockton MA, original City of Champions! We have a Super-Saturday Showdown Kick-Off show stocked-full of Mash-Up Wrestling action! All of which is one giant prelude to the GRANDDADDY of all Mash-Up Wrestling Super Shows - tomorrow night LIVE from Boston MA... BEDLAM in BOSTON 2018!Let's get right to the action! [cut 2 ringside] _________________________________________________________________________-- COMPLETE RESULTS --Booker T (2001) def. "Glorious" Bobby Roode (2019) [Heavyweight Bout]Vain-glorious Wrestlemania-worthy Entrances and walkouts to start the show. WCW-era Booker T is riding a babyface crescendo while "Glorious" Bobby Roode seemed to hit a wall as fan-favorite. So Roode reinvented himself with a heel turn that has fans fondly harkening back to his run as NXT Champion in 2017. Using the events of his title loss at "Scene of the Crime" as a catalyst, Roode turned on the fans and targeted one of their most-cherished jewels... Booker T (2001). Tonight they finally clash in one-on-one Fight-Fiction action. Roode is in control most of the match, but makes the egotistical mistake of posturing just a little too much. Booker T winds up on the comeback trail and wins after reversing a "Glorious DDT" attempt into a Axe Kick/Book-End combo for the pin! -- cut 2 PPV promo package / TV Commercials --_________________________________________________________________________Alexa Bliss (2018) vs. Tessa Blanchard (2020) [Women's Bout]Mini-Dream Feud that has consumed many chapters in BCCW history. Alexa Bliss represents the modern-day Goddess of Pro Wrestling. Tessa Blanchard is the Impact champion of the Future. Together they are oil and water in BCCW, both sharing many of the same bratty, entitled traits. Similar in height and stature, Tessa none the less holds the advantage in raging muscularity. Alexa at her best is a natural heel. Here, the sheer incredible power of Tessa Blanchard (including a picture-perfect gorilla press slam) has made her a BCCW fan-favorite. Hard-fought finale bout between the two that ends with Tessa *catching* Alexa in mid-Twisted Bliss and hitting an incredible slingshot for the pin! Holy shit! Tessa is undeniably the Diamond of BCCW Womens Division! Winner: TESSA BLANCHARD (2020)[cut 2 commercial]_________________________________________________________________________"Masshole" Mike McCarthy (w/ Boston Bad Boy Tony Rumble) defeats "Cult Leader" James Storm (w/ The Ascension) [Middleweight Bout]Cultist James Storm hijacks the ring with his Ascension (BCCW 6-Man Tag Team version) for a mind-bending promo. Thankfully his Salem Witch Trial rantings are interrupted by "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble (big pop!) who reintroduces "Masshole" Mike McCarthy (HUGE POP!) as the answer to Storms "Open Challenge!" A long-time staple of BCCW programming, the Masshole is a perfect example of Mash-Up Wrestling equality and Independent originality. To many the Masshole is an unknown, but to longtime BCCW readers he is a conquering hero. In fact he rallies tonight in Brockton to earn the "upset" victory when miscommunication between Storm and The Ascension costs him the match! Masshole and Tony Rumble (a Boston-based Dream Combo if there ever were one) ride off into the sunset in victory! But the real story here is the postmatch breakdown between Cultleader James Storm and The Ascension that results in the 6-Man Tag Team *BEATING DOWN* Storm in vicious 3-on-1 fashion! The slaughter is so severe it takes Storm OUT of BCCW for good! All that's left standing is The Ascension! (Konner / Viktor / TNA Bram) -- cut 2 commercial -- _________________________________________________________________________Apollo Crews (2019) vs. Eddie Edwards (2018) [Heavyweight Bout]Anthem Impact-era Eddie Edwards has shown a new, more-vicious side of his personality since the launch of his feud with ECW-era loudmouth Steve Corino. Corino was dubbed "King of Old School" and surrounded himself with goonies like Johnny Hot Body (1992) and heel Apollo Crews (2019). Eddie bludgeoned Corino at the last PPV (Scene of the Crime) but their blood feud didn't end there. In fact it only blossomed over the last few weeks as Corino and his valet Sammi Lane slandered Edward's & his wife Alisha Edwards (aka Alexxis Nevaeh). Eddie is so incensed he becomes unhinged during his match tonight, succumbing to the bloodlust of the Brockton fans who cheer him on. Apollo Crews winds up "beating" Eddie Edwards via DQ when Eddie goes buckwild with a Kendo stick he dragged from under the ring! Eddie takes everybody out with the weapon, and even zeroes in on the cowering Sammi Lane! Oh no Eddie don't do it! Don't hit a woman! Even Eddie's wife Alisha doesn't want him to! But when Alisha grabs her husbands arm from behind, he reacts instinctively and *SMASHES HIS OWN WIFE WITH THE KENDO STICK!!* NOOOOOOOOO!!! Eddie nearly breaks down in the ring when he recognizes his folly! Eddie Edwards took out his own wife with a Kendo Stick shot! Camp Corino has driven Eddie Edwards to the brink of insanity! "Winner" (via DQ): APOLLO CREWS[cut 2 stunned commentator recap & summary / TV commercial break]_________________________________________________________________________** 5 x 5 Elimination Tag Team Bout **Team Megumi Kudo (feat: Bella Twins / Lita / Sasha Banks)versusTeam Shayna Baszler (feat: Mistress Belmont / Sable / Mickie James / Molly Holly)Showcase bout for the BCCW Womens Division, built around the timeline rivalry of team captains Megumi Kumo (1997) vs. Shayna Baszler (2018). ORDER of ELIMINATION:1) Sable (2003)(Witchy vixen gets blasted by Megumi Kumo and trapped in a "Banks Statement " from $asha for the tapout!)2) Brie Bella (2014)(poor waifish Brie is pinned by evil Mistress Belmont after an illegal double-team) 3) Nikki Bella (2016)(Nikki - the bratty, mean half of the Bella duo - pulls a Bad News Brown / Survivor Series move and DESERTS her team! Nikki throws her hands up in disgust after another heel beatdown on her teammate Lita and walks out! Huge boos for the entitled Diva but Nikki don't care! F*** these basic b*****s!)4) Mistress Belmont (2013)(wicked Dominatrix tries to unleash her whip on Lita, but eats a Lita'rana / Moonsault combo for the pin instead! Lita / Sasha / Megumi remain one of the most-popular trios of Women wrestlers in history during their respective eras) 5) Molly Holly (2007)(Wholesome Molly Holly snapped over the decedant beautification of the Bella Twins and their Reality TV series. Thus, the prude Molly Holly (with the brunette bob) was born. She takes great pleasure in helping the Bella Twins implode tonight, before falling victim to a "Kudo Driver" from Megumi for the pin) 6) Lita (2004) (Xtreme fan-favorite was a popular addition to this match, and goes out with a blaze of glory - missing a Moonsault on Mickie before Shayna nearly breaks her neck again and forces her into submission!) 7) Mickie James (2006)(Crazy psycho-chick stalker Mickie broke away from the Bella Twins after trying to emulate Nikki, so she too takes great joy in their destruction this evening. But Mickie's giddy, delirious ways give way to a hellacious Double DDT from $asha & Megumi that pins her cold!) 8) Shayna Baszler (2018)(Monster-Heel that tore through the opposing team and almost single-handedly destroys both Sasha & Megumi at the same time. But Shayna's finally overcome by the combined might of her two opponents and put to sleep with a "Kudo Driver / Banks Statement" combo!) ** WINNERS - Megumi Kudo (1997) & Sasha Banks (2016) **[cut 2 commercial] _________________________________________________________________________-- Main Event --** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles **Strike Force 3000 def. Lucha DragonsMash-Up Wrestling magic in action, behold - take two parts Strike Force 1988 (WWF Championship version) and mix one part Matt Riddle MMA-Master and King of Bros-style. Add a dash of BCCW 6-Man Tag Team titles. Season with Kalisto & Sin Cara (Hunico) - and finally, garnish with pre-WWE Mistico for that ultimate embellishment. What you have is a 6-Man championship combination that entertains BCCW fans with hard-fought action and high-flying aerodynamics. Lucha Dragons bring the sizzle & flash while Strike Force 3000 brings the meat and potatoes. In the end, the powerful technique of Matt Riddle is too much to overcome and Sin Cara winds up suplexed into oblivion - while Mistico is ejected off the top rope by a patented double-dropkick from Santana & Martel! 1! 2! 3! Strike Force 3000 retain their cherished BCCW 6-Man championships to cap our night of historic action in Brockton! Winners (and *STILL* BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Champions): STRIKE FORCE 3000-- closing words from the champs / commentator recap & summary / joined by BCCW GM & Owner Stephanie McMahon for the final hard-sell on tomorrow's PPV Mega-Event, "Bedlam in Boston 2018". History will be made again! Stay tuned! --(BUY THE MUTHAPHUCKKIN PPV TOMORROW NIGHT!)[Fade Out]
