"Scene of the Crime 2018" Authors Note: Since 2005 when WWE dropped the once-in-a-lifetime ECW reunion show - to 2006 when RVD cashed in and 2007 when it was clear this was no "one night stand" - WWE Extreme Rules has been one of my favorite PPVs of the year. In some ways it was even better than Wrestlemania because it usually featured WM rematches but with Extreme stipulations added. As a staunch DVD collector I am most thankful for the 2006 and 2017 DVD versions that featured bonus discs of content. So in the world of BCCW, our "Scene of the Crime" PPV tradition is my tribute to the Extreme Rules PPV that still comes once a calendar year like clockwork. Sit back and enjoy as each BCCW Match-Up tonight is accentuated with specific stipulations on this once/year special edition PPV. Enjoy the show!_________________________________________________________________________-- COMPLETE RESULTS --After weeks of hype & speculation, it was revealed that "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey would be officially debuting in the Mash-Up Wrestling universe! After numerous bidding wars that nearly upset the delicate political spectrum of Mash-Up Wrestling, Ronda chose to sign with Broken City Championship Wrestling! No doubt empowered by our proud Owner & GM, Stephanie McMahon! It was announced on the last BCCW TV Episode that Rousey would officially sign her contract at BCCW "Scene of the Crime" in Los Angeles... that's tonight! Opening segment of the National TV broadcast BCCW Prelims, designed to capture all those last-minute buys! Tonight RONDA ROUSEY signs her first BCCW contract! Stephanie McMahon & her husband HHH, on behalf of the Mash-Up Wrestling committee, are present for this historic moment. But things quickly go awry when Stephanie tries hijacking #GiveDivasAChance and the Womens Revolution to make it another "All-About-Stephanie" vanity project! Rousey winds up spiking HHH through a table and signing her BCCW contract out of spite! "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey is here! The Women's Division - and BCCW - will never be the same again! -- cut 2 commercial -- _________________________________________________________________________Tessa Blanchard (2020) def. Alexa Bliss (2018) [Kendo Stick on a Pole Match]Alexa Bliss is a bratty bully who quickly turns into a victim in the well-sculpted arms of Tessa Blanchard! When Tessa gets the Kendo stick, fuhgetaboutit. Only a few crisp strikes are needed for Alexa to crumble like THC concentrate. The modern-day "Goddess" was forced to bow down to the undeniable future of Woman's wrestling - Tessa Blanchard! -- cut 2 commercial -- _________________________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles **Strike Force 3000 def. The Ascension (w/ Outlaw James Storm) [Tornado Tag Team Bout]Everybody in action at the same time so it's a total barnburner. Matthew Riddle is the sole breakout sensation of the match, while Ascension suffer through miscommunication. Outlaw James Storm botches his interference attempt and accidentally clocks TNA Bram instead! Riddle picks up the title defense with his RNC, but the big storm postmatch is dissension within the Ascension ranks. Winners (and *STILL* BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Champions): STRIKE FORCE 3000... [bro!!]-- cut 2 commercial -- _________________________________________________________________________ ** Falls Count Anywhere ** "Woken" Matt Hardy (2018) def. Johnny Hot Body (1992) [Middleweight Bout]"Hot Body Inc" stable starts this segment with an in-ring promo (Heel mouthpiece Steve Corino w/ valet Sammi Lane + Johnny Hot Body & backup-muscle Apollo Crews). Thankfully we get the smoke-and-mirrors Entrance of Woken Matt Hardy as an interruption and this match occurs organically. Hardy outwits Hot Body and pins him with a "Twist of Fate". But before the entire crew can swallow Hardy whole with a gangland beating... -- Match Segue -- _________________________________________________________________________ "Diehard" Eddie Edwards (2018) def. Steve Corino (2001) (First Blood Grudge Match)Kendo stick-weilding Eddie Edwards clears the ring and extracts great vengeance from bigmouth Steve Corino! After a brutish, stiff Encounter Steve Corino is BUSTED open signaling an official end to the match! But Eddie continues the beating further before finishing with a "Boston Knee Party". Even commentators wonder if Eddie went too far, but the bloodthirsty fans in LA tonight loved it. _________________________________________________________________________** TV Main Event **** Xtreme Rulez Grudge Match ** Megumi Kudo (1997) def. Shayna Baszler (2017) [Womans Bout]Is this a pro wrestling match or MMA fight? Hard to tell the difference to start. Eventually evolves into Death Match when a barbed-wire tumbleweed and bag of thumbtacks get involved!!! "THIS IS AWESOME!", "HOLY S***!" and "BCCW! BCCW!" chants abound! These two amazing athletes blaze the holy Hell out of each other an increasingly violent and sadistic match. TV Main Event for the ages that will leave Casual Fans looking to make last minute Mash-Up Wrestling Network purchases and Mainstream outlets to take note of the Xtreme lengths these athletes will take their Fighting Spirit. Baszler hurts her ribs and Kudo bleeds hardway from the head. In the end, Kudo hits a double-foot stomp on Baszler's already-established injured ribs while she's caught in a Tree of Woe in the turnbuckles, before spiking her with a Top Rope elbowdrop! 1! 2! 3! Kudo picks up the insane victory in a hardfought match! Both Superstars were undeniably sensational! BCCW - original home of Women's Wrestling in the Mash-Up Universe! Winner: MEGUMI KUDO -- BUY THE MUTHAPHUCKKIN PPV!! --[Fade Out]

Broken City Championship Wrestling by MadStepDad presents..."SCENE of the CRIME 2018!"Mash-Up Wrestling is an alternate Fight-Fiction universe in which all timelines parallel and legends never die. A literal Heaven for pro-wrestling fans.
Broken City Championship Wrestling is a Tier-5 Franchise within this universe that has roots throughout the Northeast and into Canada. BCCW has been a founding father of Mash-Up Wrestling since the games inception in 1963, and runs deep with historic tradition & legacy.
Part of that legacy of conquest takes place tonight in California when BCCW returns to the "Scene of the Crime". Los Angeles CA where BCCW swallowed a once-great rival (XPW Remixed) and consumed their assets in victory. Now once a year, BCCW comes to LA for their most-violent PPV of the year. A sick demented "tribute" of sorts to their Ultraviolent (now ultra-deceased) Franchise rival, XPW Remixed. Now BCCW proudly presents "Scene of the Crime!!" Every match fantasy-booked under Xtreme stipulations! -- cut to opening video / pyro / screaming fans!! -- _________________________________________________________________________ Scott Hall (1996) def. "Dangerous" Danny McShain (1956) [Impromptu Los Angeles Street Fight]Scott Hall interrupts the intro of the show and hijacks the mic. Before he gets too deep into his "Ayo" open challenge, we're cut off by the Entrance & Theme of the stately gentleman Mr. Daniel McShane! The hometown hero quickly turns "Dangerous" by sucker-punching Hall in the jaw! We're off! Wild brawl all around ringside and into the fans! Street clothes on both men are torn to shreds as they use whatever they can get their hands on for weapons! Scott Hall winds up pulverizing McShane into a gory, bloody mess before pinning him with a "Razors Edge" onto a steel chair! The Bad Guy is here in BCCW and he wants all the gold! -- cut to stunned commentator recap / Kevin Owens / Booker T dueling promos --_________________________________________________________________________** Finisher-Only Match ** Kevin FN Owens (2018) def. Booker T (2002) [Middleweight Bout]Rematch of their one-on-one encounter from "Fallout Festival". This time, KO uses chicanery to cause the referee to *miss* a huge Axe Kick from Booker T that should have ended the match... only to have Owens spike Booker T with a pop-up powerbomb (in full view of the referee) for the victory! Even still, an irate Booker T winds up clearing the ring postmatch and taunting KO with a fan-pleasing Spinaroonie! -- cut to backstage promo -- Controversy reigned supreme in the aftermath of the WORLD Title match @ "City of Champions!" Bret Hart wound up winning the BCCW Heavyweight Championship but once again holds a grudge against the Mash-Up Wrestling Committee for "screwing" him out of regaining the WORLD title! Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart is here now for a promo explaining all this bitterness and guaranteeing a successful title defense tonight against another so-called "American Hero", AJ Styles! Even if Hart has to go through "special referee" and "biased official" DANIEL BRYAN (making his BCCW debut tonight!) in the process! -- cut 2 ring --_________________________________________________________________________** Bullrope Match ** Roman Reigns (2014) def. Commissioner JBL (2006)Heavyweight grudge match months in the making. Since being appointed Commissioner by Stephanie McMahon, JBL has reveled in corruption and bigotry. He wanted to subjugate Roman Reigns, and when that failed Commissioner JBL took to brazenly screwing him and costing Reigns Championship gold. Now the Big Dawg has a chance to get his hands on Commissioner JBL in the ring and his revenge is brutal & bloody! Fans absolutely love the savagery on display by Reigns tonight as he takes out months worth of frustration on Commissioner JBL! The loud-mouthed Texan bleeds like a stuck pig as the blood-thirsty, ravenous fans in LA goes absolutely berserk! After a crushing Spear, Roman Reigns uses the bloody-cowbell to BLAST JBL upside the head with a Superman Punch! That's it! JBL is out cold, Reigns touches all 4 turnbuckles to end the match, and the fans couldn't be happier! This is 2014 Royal Rumble Reigns with a heart full of fire and the fans passion & desire! The "Hound of Justice" is back in BCCW and on the hunt to bring down Stephanie's regime, one figurehead at a time!! -- CUT BACKSTAGE -- ** BACKSTAGE VIGNETTE **
Speaking of BCCW Owner & GM Stephanie McMahon, we join her inside her office for a quick vignette. Ostensibly to gather her reaction to Roman's victory over Stephanie's handpicked Commissioner, JBL - but instead Stephanie is interrupted by the towering KEVIN NASH (1996). Dropping the entire Diesel shtick, Nash "shoots" with Stephanie over the details of their "arrangement" - perhaps hinting he's not quite happy enough with the monetary compensation. When Stephanie tries to brush Nash off, we see SCOTT HALL (1996) - BIG POP! - enter to stand alongside Nash and form a smirking human wall. It's time to renegotiate their deal, or else they know another Outsider with deep pockets who may make them an offer nobody can refuse... Hall & Nash hand Stephanie their benefactors business card, and Stephanie FLIES INTO A RAGE - ordering all cameras and cell phones OUT! CUT! But who's name was on the business card?? -- cut 2 ringside -- _________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Television Title **EC3 (2018) def. "Glorious" Bobby Roode (2018) ["Best 2 out of 3 Falls" Heavyweight Bout]Another contemporary Dream Match that we've actually yet to see, despite their career crossroads in TNA and beyond. The trash-talk in the weeks leading up to this bout was some of the best material either online or TV. Tonight their Walkout Entrances alone are worth the price of admission. Hard-fought competitive bout that finds each man tied going into the 3rd fall. But eventually the injured knee of Roode (something EC3 had been exploiting all night) pays off when his "Glorious DDT" attempt fails - DIESEL (aka Kevin Nash shows up on the Entrance Ramp to stare down the ring and distract Roode) - leading to Roode finding himself rolled-up / feet-on-the-ropes by EC3 for the pin! Still got it! The #1 Draw and Ace of Television Ratings... EC3! Kevin Nash (sarcastically?) applauds EC3's victory from the Entrance Ramp as EC3 eyes him warily... or has Kevin Nash indeed found a peaceful resolution with the Stephanie McMahon-regime!? Winner (and *STILL* Television Champion): EC3-- cut to post-match victory promo / commentator recap / video package for next bout --_________________________________________________________________________** Submission-Only ** Charlotte Flair (2018) def. Mildred Burke (1938) [Womans Bout]Ex-Mash-Up Wrestling WORLD Womans Champion Charlotte Flair has been hellbent on regaining her crown. Her crusade took her to BCCW and it's once-more thriving Womans Division. Charlotte has schooled every generational rival she's been placed against - until tonight. With BCCW in the midst of our annual West Coast pilgramage for this PPV, Mildred Burke used the opportunity to pimp her wrestling school in Reseda and challenge Charlotte to a Match tonight! The greatest WORLD Womans Champion in history (Mildred Burke) matches mettle with the QUEEN in a pure wrestling contest! School is in session! Commentators harken back to the opening segment of our prelims tonight when Ronda Rousey officially signed her BCCW contract. In Mash-Up Wrestling canon, Rousey is one of the greatest graduates of Mildred Burke's school. Rousey certainly represents the future of BCCW, while Mildred Burke is one of the greatest relics of our past. Meanwhile Charlotte Flair has established herself as the Alpha Female of Today. Charlotte clearly has the size advantage (think of her matches vs. Alexa Bliss for comparison sake) but Mildred Burke is one of the most-skilled shooters of all time. After an incredible encounter that has fans chanting "THIS IS WRESTLING!" and "BCCW!", Charlotte reverses Burke's Texas-Cloverleaf into a climatic Figure-8 for the tap-out victory! Charlotte has done it! She has cemented her greatness in the presence of Wrestling GODS! After a standing ovation from the crowd, even Mildred Burke has to give it up to Charlotte with the hard-earned "handshake of mutual respect" and "hug of eternal Timeline Rivals!" This is BCCW, and this is one of the greatest moments in Fight-Fiction and Fantasy-Wrestling today. Winner: CHARLOTTE FLAIR (2018)-- cut 2 backstage promo -- BCCW backstage correspondent Renee Young w/ reigning BCCW Middleweight Champion AJ STYLES (2018)! Tonight, Styles makes history by becoming the first 2-division Champion; an accomplishment so rare it is reserved for select few MMA fighters. But not only that, AJ Styles - the good ol Southern boy - is fighting for American pride against the Canadian heretic Bret Hart! All-out Fantasy Warfare in tonight's Mega Main Event! Iron man Match with SPECIAL REFEREE DANIEL BRYAN! Stay tuned!** cut 2 ringside ** _________________________________________________________________________ ** Ladder Match for MitB Briefcase **HBK Shawn Michaels (1995) def. Low-Ki (2005) [Middleweight Bout]Mark-out Match for diehard fans of every interest level. Crisp strikes and innovative ladder-offense are hallmarks of this bout. In BCCW cannon, HBK vacated the Middleweight title after "losing his smile" in Lowell MA. But since his return, a renewed Michaels is intent on reclaiming his stature. That includes a rousing MitB victory at "City of Champions" over a bevy of fantasy-opponents, including Low-Ki. The interactions between HBK & Low-Ki during that bout are what have necissated this rematch tonight. After a series of daring dives & collisions, Low-Ki appears to have the bout won when his HEADKICK at the top of the ladder spun HBK into the ropes where he became entangled. But before Low-Ki could grab the title belt hanging from the ceiling... None other than the OUTSIDERS, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall make the run-in! CRASH! Low-Ki is tipped off the ladder-top through a nearby table! Hall & Nash untangle HBK and help him ascend the ladder where he grabs the briefcase... HIS briefcase! HBK has solidified his stature as perennial thorn-in-the side to the power structure. But now he has his guaranteed contract back - AND his best friends backing him! Ladies & gentlemen, the CLIQ is alive & well in BCCW! Winner: HBK Shawn Michaels -- cut to backstage promo / video recap... BCCW Owner & GM Stephanie McMahon has LEFT THE BUILDING and NOT AVAILABLE for comment! --_________________________________________________________________________** Boiler Room Brawl ** Brothers of Destiny def. Bludgeon Brothers [BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Bout]"Brothers of Destiny" consists of Undertaker (2007) & Crow Sting (1997) - united after months of blood-feuding - plus their (half)human avatar KANE (2001). BoD are generally regarded as the most-powerful trio in BCCW 6-Man Tag Team history. One of their greatest challengers came in the form of another "Brothers" trio. The BCCW Bludgeon Bros - feat: Harper & Rowan + FMW Leatherface! Bludgeon Bros wound up costing BoD their 6-Man Titles @ "City of Champions", leading to this Ultraviolent encounter tonight. Fight starts in the back with all kind of debris, revving chainsaws and heavy metal. Eventually the six monsters make their way ringside (through the crowd) brawling all the way. After a series of insane bumps using the steel ring steps, FMW Leatherface gets powerbombed over the top rope through a table - while Erick Rowan eats the pin inside the ring after an Undertaker-Tombstone onto the ring-steps. Brothers of Destiny extract their vengeance in disturbing fashion! Winners: BROTHERS of DESTINY (Kane & Taker + Crow Sting)-- cut to replay / commentator summary / throw backstage to NEW "Special Referee" for the evening... --Backstage correspondent Renee Young with DANIEL BRYAN (2018) making his BCCW debut tonight as Special Referee for the Main Event Championship bout! Daniel Bryan explains how the BCCW Heavyweight Title picture became so clouded with controversy it required outside assistance to make sure tonight's bout is called down the middle. When Daniel Bryan got the call from the Mash-Up Wrestling Committee, he jumped at the chance to debut in BCCW and perhaps become one-step closer to a full-fledged ring return! But for now, DBryan promises to call a fair fight right down the middle! May the best man win! AJ Styles vs. Bret Hart! Iron man match! Stay tuned!!** cut 2 ring ** _________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Heavyweight Championship **Bret "Hitman" Hart (1997) vs. AJ Styles (2017) [Iron-Man Match]Science, psychology and philosophy all at play in here. AJ Styles winds up sacrificing the first fall after being caught in a crippling knee bar, instead of risking further injury. This gamble pays off for Styles when he manages to capture two quick finishes of his own in near-rapid succession (Victory-Roll counter - and when Bret was still incensed over that move, stole a quick tapout with a Side-Russian Legsweep / into a Calf-Slicer Submission!) Now the match takes a more deliberate tone as Bret (down 2 - 1) works on injuring the leg/knee of AJ Styles. Bret evens the score when Styles crashes-and-burns on a Phenomenal Forearm attempt (Score Tied 2 - 2). With the clock ticking down things get heated between the special referee (DBryan) and Bret Hart. Bret winds up SHOVING Daniel Bryan... who retaliates with his OWN SHOVE of Bret Hart - right into a "Styles Clash" from AJ Styles! BAM! DBryan has no choice but to count the pinfall that puts Styles up 3-2 with minutes left! BRET IS INCENSED, blaming Daniel Bryan for everything! Crooked politics have screwed Bret Hart again! In the ensuing arguments & explosive shoving match between Hart & Bryan, Bret manages to sneak in a crippling lowblow to AJ Styles (unseen by referee Bryan) for the sneak-pin with seconds left! Bret Hart plays defensive for the last few seconds until the clock runs out! HUGE boos for that as Hart is seen as eking out a decision victory! In fact, Bret Hart immediately gathers his HW Championship belt and begins to leave, under the assumption "tie goes to the Champion". Instead - DBryan RESTARTS the match under sudden death rules (with Bret Hart complaining "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!") After a few more exhilarating moments filled with intense false finishes - Bret Hart finishes the psychological story line by forcing AJ Styles unconscious with his Sharpshooter finisher! (the pain in AJ Styles' targeted-knee was too intense to overcome!) Referee Daniel Bryan calls the finish on account of ref stoppage! AJ Styles is OUT! STILL your Heavyweight Champion BRET HART! Welcome to BCCW Daniel Bryan, but have you now made TWO powerful enemies on your first night in!? The Mash-Up Wrestling saga continues as BCCW heads towards it's biggest show of the year... BEDLAM in BOSTON 2018! Coming soon! Winner (and *STILL* BCCW Heavyweight Champion): BRET "Hitman" HART[Fade Out]

Man, Bret nearly got screwed by a restart in an Iron Man match again! Sensational card. Hart, of course, retains in a grueling bout that will no doubt get MotY votes. Kane/Undertaker/Sting form the most formidable trio in MUW history, and I've no idea who can step up to challenge them. EC3 and Reigns with tough wins, the latter earning his the hard way... seriously, top to bottom, this card was stacked, and there are plenty of launching points to use here.

Flair/Burke was a personal favorite for me, as I lived the respect you gave to those two and the story told there. I also liked seeing Kudo go over on the pre show. The main event was also really well done and a great read. Twists and turns around, and I was satisfied with the way that ended. I also love the return of the Cliq, as that really capped off in a memorable way what was already a sensational dream match. JBL and Reigns also seemed like my kind of match, as I love a rough, heavy hitting brawl like that.

I have finally got around to reading this show. Better late than never, am I right? Anyhow, it did not disappoint. It is a testament to the strength of your roster, booking, and general story telling that you have crafted a stacked card that was compelling and a joy to read from start to finish. Any card in which HBK's match is the low-point of the evening must be heralded for being truly exceptional!
As Fifth said, I think The Undertaker, Kane and Sting are the best trios team in MUW history. Who can compete with them? They'll excellent champions and representatives of the BCCW brand. Kevin Owens vs. Booker T was a personal favourite matchup of mine. Reigns vs. JBL was intense. I loved Flair vs. Burke for the MUW Women's World Championship. Two of the best of all-time in a fantasy match like only you can pull off. And the main event was unreal! Hart vs. Styles for 60+ minutes.
Two thumbs up!
