The sounds of Buff Bagwell's music can be head and these fans cheer, as "Buff the Stuff" makes his way out, strutting and showboating! He asks if everyone is ready for a great night of action, and to see the best body in wrestling doing some work tonight on a bum named Shawn Stasiak! Buff gets a good reaction, but out comes Stasiak, with some arm candy named Alicia, and he has harsh words for Buff. He says Buff may be "The Stuff", but unfortunately that "stuff" is a bunch of crap and Stasiak says he's going to kick the crap out of Buff Bagwell and establish himself as "The Mecca" of the Mid-South! Buff says he can try, but he's going down tonight and the fans cheer as these two make their exit and get ready for the main event!
Nova vs. "The Anarchist" Arik Cannon
Cannon would try to take down the superhero inspired Nova with his hard hitting offense, including his Glimmering Warlock knee strike to the back of the head, but Nova showed resilience! Nova would call on the fans to back him up before hitting the Nova Cain (Rolling Cutter), followed by the Kryptonite Krunch to get the three count!
Nova went out and took pictures with some of the kids in the audience after the match while in his "DareDevil" inspired outfit, before heading to the back.
Gunner Scott vs. Tom Carter
Two technicians did battle here, with Carter using more heelish tactics to try to get over on the bigger Scott. Scott was able to overcome the veteran's underhanded moves, winning over the crowd with his array of suplexes and stiff chops, before tapping out Carter to a high angle Fujiwara Armbar!
Scott gets on the mic and says he's not going to be showing anyone mercy in the Mid-South, and real wrestling is coming back to this region!
"The American Psycho" Lance Archer vs. Bull Pain
Pain has a following around here, but Archer is big and nasty, and was able to punish Pain in a grueling brawl. Archer would chokeslam Pain off the apron at one point, spelling doom for the fan favorite. Archer would deliver a Texas Tornado (F5) from his 6'08" height, and that wrapped things up.
The referee tried to raise Archer's hand afterwards, but was met with a chokeslam! Archer gets massive boos and threatens fans as he leaves, showing his psycho side indeed!
"The Mecca of Manhood" Shawn Stasiak w/ Alicia Webb vs. Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell
Buff had the fans firmly behind him in this great classic contest of powerful, athletic superstars. Stasiak would take Buff to the outside at one point and Webb helped assault him, causing the ref to threaten to toss her from the match. Bagwell would attempt a Fisherman's Suplex at one point, but Stasiak would block and hit a low blow, followed by a Reverse DDT, but Buff still kicked out! Buff would hit a Double Arm DDT and head to the middle turnbuckle, looking for the Blockbuster, but Webb would get on the apron and distract him! Stasiak would take advantage, catching Buff up top and taking him down with a Perfect Plex of his own, holding Buff down for the three!
Stasiak hurries and leaves the ring, pointing at his head and holding up Webb's arm in victory as they head back to backstage to the sound of boos.
