FALLOUT FESTIVAL 2015 (Night Two)Mash-Up Wrestling is an experimental battleground where fact & fiction collide in myth-making culpability. The *time* is irrelevant, it is the *place* that counts - and that place is right here in Cambridge MA for BCCW "Fallout Festival Night Two!!" Warning: Broken City Championship Wrestling by MadStepDad is a free-flowing conversation that occasionally touches on mature subjects. Beer Money come from their critically-acclaimed TNA tag team title run in 2011. JBL steps off his WWE soapbox (with a championship run fresh in the rearview) calling himself a "Wrestling Gawd!" and the next BCCW President! They came to Mash-Up Wrestling in Season One, and this union solidified their standings. With this power, JBL became the first UCW Champion. After driving this alumni franchise into debt and cashing out, JBL presided in WCW. Beer Money won the AWA Tag titles and the equally-prestigious Crockett Cup tourney. All the while they were biding their time; plotting their reunion. That opportunity came when the Montreal Mafia called. They were seeking an American-born (non-criminalized) White man to run for BCCW President on their opposition ticket! JBL was more than happy to sell out the States for a platinum-coated Maple Leaf, and now drapes himself in Old Glory only as a disgusting display of condescension. Beer Money Intl are met head-on by BCCW defenders at the gate, the so-called "Boston Strongmen" trio of Sexton / Sharpa / Ciampa - themselves a Mash-Up medley of generational proportions. WWE Shield circa 2014 Babyface-edition, but with a Boston Bruins-style like Almighty RSO. "Powerhouse" Frank Sexton is Roman Reigns of the faction, with Tomasso Ciampa playing the role of Apex Predator-lite meets Architect. Frank Scarpa is "hands of stone" long before Ronnie Garvin ever threw a punch. Together they defended the honor of BCCW while abroad in hostile territory, and amassed a voracious following in return. Now they are the 1st line of defense in this raucous opening 6-Man Bout. Everybody gets a chance to shine, with double-teams and an assembly-line of finishers to close the sequence. In the end, through no fault of their own, Tommaso Ciampa is pinned by JBL after an unseen Clothesline-from-Hell that nearly folds Ciampa in half! 1! 2! 3! The Montreal Mafia's American-based "Impeach the President!" campaign gains another victory foothold! Winners: BEER MONEY Intl** Cut to video recap, commentator summary / Rick "the Model" Martel "Arrogance" promo ** ____________________________________________________________RICK "the Model" MARTEL (1992) vs. "Diehard" EDDIE EDWARDS (2012) w/ Alexxis Nevaeh versus w/ While primarily known as a character at this point, Rick Martel could still more than hold his own in the ring. His greatest test will come tonight against the NECW / RoH legend known as "Diehard". The resulting storyline shenanigans between Rick Martel and his Pepe Le'Pew advances upon Eddie's girlfriend Alexxis are the driving force of this encounter. Edwards is relentless in his efforts to avenge her honor, sometimes to the point of sheer detriment. For Rick Martel is not opposed to placing well-timed lowblows and eye pokes into the mix when it benefits him most! In the end, Martel uses Edwards own fury against him, spinning him into a pin after nearly colliding with Alexxis on a rope-rebound! Martel clutches the tights (oldest heel trick in the book) and squeaks out the victory! Eddie Edwards, Alexxis and the fans can't believe it! But Martel celebrates with Arrogance, and tries to use the opportunity to preposition Alexxis once more! Does she want to be with a winner like The Model, or a *LOSER* like Eddie Edwards!? Winner: RICK "the Model" MARTELAlexxis responds to Martel's leering advances like she's Elizabeth at WM8! WHACK! WHAP! SLAP! SLAP! to Martel's precious face! He quickly angers, grabs her by the wrist and prepares to strike her back (!!) - when Eddie Edwards finally flies in for the save! Eddie Edwards demolishes Martel, until he is felled from behind with an unseen lowblow by the BELLA TWINS!Segues to... ____________________________________________________________Nikki Bella (w/ Brie) def. Alexxis Nevaeh (Womans Bout) w/ versus #GiveDivasAChanceBella Twins are a deliciously evil and vain combination that drives the Woman's Division engine in BCCW. After Nikki's dalliance with Cena was revealed in Season Two, they settled in as Ambassadors and faces of the BCCW publicity machine. But now they are itching for more recognition, screen-time and accolades! So Nikki's athletic victory over the equally-sporty Alexxis (former XPW Remixed Woman's Champion) is a statement for their entire gender. Bellas + The Model is another example of a perfect Mash-Up Wrestling combination. "Rack Attack" from Nikki for the finish. Arrogance indeed... Winner: NIKKI BELLA** cut to replay, commentator summary / 6-Man Title recap and video package **____________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles **WYATT FAMILY vs. N.O.D. MILITIA (Dog Collar Strap Match) versus Insane, bloody slugfest reminiscent of ECW "Gangstas Paradise (1996)". Pairing the 2014-version of Wyatt Family (with a fan-favorite twist) opposite the NOD Militia (circa roughly 1997ish) opens the door for a Hatfield/McCoys-level Mash-Up rivalry. Ever since cashing in Bray Wyatt's "Slaughtahouse Stampede" Title Shot against the Russians for the 6-Man straps, the Wyatt's have been "defending" the honor of America in their own twisted fashion. The NOD Militia meanwhile is already showing friction between defacto leader (and HW singles superstar) Farooq and Street Preacher D-Von Dudley. One man is tethered to one opponent by the wrist (3 different sets of straps) while Farooq remains at ringside to second. Everybody bleeds, brawls and breaks tables at a rapid pace. Backs are whipped by leather straps, and attempted lynchings are common (yes, it is all very disturbing in some context). Yet this issue isn't black-and-white, it's about achieving the "American Dream" through any means necessary. In this case, the 6-Man Championship belts remain the most coveted Arc. After multiple close calls and false finishes (including Farooq getting *BANNED* from ringside, in an act he declares unconstitutional!) - the Wyatts finally finish Kofi Kingston with a top-rope Superbomb through a stack of tables set up on a steel stair! 1! 2! 3! His months long program against Andre is summarized, and the Giant's new manager Professor Sheldon Goldberg is clearly a difference maker. Cena winds up grabbing the portly "Professor" Sheldon Goldberg by his lapels after he leapt up on the ring apron, but is dumped from behind by a recovered Andre! Austin has run Attitude-Era amok on the Mafia; destroying their vehicles, soaking them in alcohol and staying one-step ahead of them the entire time. His position has been championed by BCCW President Paul Bowser, who sees Austin as a Wild West lawman just dirty enough to take down the Mafia. The French Lion meanwhile, is reigning BCCW HW Champion and Godfather of the Montreal Mafia, making him the most feared & dangerous man in New England right now. In contemporary form, Le Lion is a French version of William Regal (without the "wellness violations") and "Rabid Wolverine" Chris Benoit. Middle fingers in the air, let's do this! Crowd is absolutely ravenous in their disdain for Le Lion (and love for Austin). Very "USA vs Canada", as commentators recap the Mash-Up Wrestling Feud of the Year between the two countries (in the form of rival Wrestling Companies BCCW vs AGPW). The Lion & The Rattlesnake start with counter-holds and chain-wrestling, until Austin kicks the match into 1999 with rapid-fire punches & American brawling! In and around the ring they spill, with the pendulum of battle swinging back and forth between the two men. Le Lion fires Austin into the announce table, but eats stiff elbows in return. Back in the ring, Lion can't finish Austin with an abdominal stretch, but does hit a stungun & a piledriver for a very near 2-count! They wind up battling on the top turnbuckle and Austin hits Le Lion with a superplex... that is quickly countered on the mat by the BCCW HW Champion into a small package for 2! Incredibly uncanny & scientific reversal from the French Lion! He is like a giant octopus on the mat, snaring his opponents limbs and not relinquishing! After an incredibly-taxing bout between them, we cue the Storyline-enhancements and character run-ins. First Montreal Mafia lackeys Kenny King & Corporate Kane try to interfere, but they are run-off by the twin appearances of Television champion Crusher Casey & his #1 contender Bobby Lashley! Both men are scheduled to compete for the TV title *AT WRESTLEMANIA in BOSTON!*, but are teaming up tonight (as they did in the Main Event of Fallout Festival Night One) to drive out the Montreal Mafia menace! Righteous competition will remain! Finally Commissioner MVP himself tries to cut in - resulting in a referee bump and the *closes* near-fall of the night on Austin (fans held their breath in anticipation of a huge screwjob ending) - but thankfully BCCW President Paul Bowser was on the scene to intervene; having Boston Sports Authorities & off-duty police remove Commissioner MVP from the scene! The distraction was just enough for Austin to recover, sucker Le Lion into a climatic Stone Cold Stunner (Best Mash-Up Finisher 2 years in a row!), and score the glorious victory! The World title is safe from the Montreal Mafia, at least for one more night! Though the Heavyweight crown remains under lock and key!! Winner (and *still* WORLD Champion): STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!!!All hell breaks loose post match, as another near-riot ensues. Waves of security and BCCW officials try to separate the warring parties, while Austin cleans house and goes after Le Lion again!Austin chases Le Lion right out into the backstage area and parking lot, looking to continue the brawl! But the Montreal Mafia has something much more sinister in wait... Austin, watch out!! ____________________________________________________________Outro"HHH" = BCCW HW Champion French Lion (Yvon Robert)

Hell of a main event there, and a great, entertaining read all around. My favorite match of the night was the 6 man title bout, though I'm not sure why it was a Dog Collar Strap match and not a tables match from the sounds of things. lol I only say that because typically the object in such a match is to drag the opponent to each turnbuckle, but here, it seemed like the violence level was even higher. It reminded me of the Nasty Boys/Public Enemy dog collar match from Bash at the Beach 1996, though, and that's a positive, as I've always enjoyed that. I found the battle royale to be well done, and was perhaps the best execution of a battle royale I've seen in fantasy wrestling, as I got a good feel for things and good visuals without it being overwhelming. Sound work, all around, and big ups to Andre for remaining the best battle royaler ever.

Lol thanks man. For the strap match I was specifically thinking that old Pitbulls vs Raven/Stevie Richards clusterfuck from original ECW. That always tickled my fancy.

I think the Fallout Festival is aptly named for creating a great deal of fallout to the event, rather than for being the fallout from some prior event. There will be plenty of fallout from this event.
For instance, the split up of the Russians. A singles run for Nikita Koloff is promising. Also, it would appear as though GoldStar Muta is going to break up with news that Goldust has violated the Wellness Policy and Muta spitting mist into Stardust's face. And while one might think that the trios division can't handle losing a couple of tag teams, it looks like there are some good options to step in as future challengers to the Wyatt Family. JBL and Beer Money is a phenomenal trios team and their victory over the Nation of Domination is a testament to that. They could really shake up the division. So too could the long awaited Trilogy.
Speaking of which, the return of the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair is bound to lead to some interesting events. Maybe, finally, he and Adam Cole will create their Trilogy and rise to prominence. Adam Cole seemed to be spinning his wheels while Flair was up north giving the rub to a bunch of Canucks. However, recently, he has become a more important player and that should only continue with the return of Flair. I don't believe that Flair's return means that Cole will be taking a backseat to him. I'm really interested to know who the third member will be. I believe that it was originally meant to be Alberto Del Rio, but his inclusion in the group was so poorly received that they had to scrap Trilogy before it even again and wait several months to reboot it.
I'm very happy to see Rick "The Model" Martel establish himself by going over Eddie Edwards. I'm intrigued by the possibility of a long-term partnership between Martel and the Bella Twins.
André The Giant remains the king of the battle royal and gets another victory over John Cena. Has Cena finally found the one opponent he can't beat, no matter how hard he tries? By the way, I love the strong showing of "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff. Coming in third in the annual Mega Brawl is a good way to make a strong impression in one's debut.
The big main event of the second night was fantastic. I wonder if suffering a loss to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and failing to win the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship has put a chink in Yvon Robert's armour. Will there will be challengers from within to his position at the top of the food chain or will this loss bear no effect on his position as the godfather of the Montréal Mafia and the puppetmaster who appears to many important authority and political figures working to benefit him.
Overall, this was a great show with some excellent matches - my favourites of which were AJ Styles vs. Adam Cole and Steve Austin vs. Yvon Robert - and with many more important plot developments. The only big disappointment for me was that Eddie Guerrero has yet to return from the time he and his nephew were punked out by LAX. I thought tonight's main event would have been a perfect time for him to return and cause trouble. I can't wait until the moment he does.
