"CHANGING of the GUARD" PPV ** DARK MATCH **
RICHIE STEAMBOAT (w/ Hot Stuff Inc)
versus
"ADORABLE" ADRIAN ADONIS (w/ Sammi Lane) verus
The set of Missy's Manor opened the show, and Hyatt used the time to once again tout the future potential of her superstar Richie "Young Dragon" Steamboat. This time however, her bravado was interupted by the Adorable One and his stylist Sammi Lane. Dueling mics segment, with Adonis touting the "Flower Shop" as the best interview segment in BCCW. Leads to an immediate match. Richie Steamboat wins the match with a flying body press after a Hyatt/Sammi Lane altercation results in Hyatt slapping the taste out of Sammi's mouth and her little stuffed teddy bear out of her hands to a big pop. Adrian and Lane regroup and retreat to the locker room while Hot Stuff Inc celebrate in the ring. Winner: RICHIE STEAMBOAT _________________________________________________________
We are LIVE from BCCW's "CHANGING of the GUARD!!!
Introducing the announce team for this evening... Gordon Solie, Matt Striker & MSDCue event theme song and let's get right to the action!!! 1) WADE BARRETT versus DOLPH ZIGGLER
(w/ special referee Bobby "the Brain" Heenan) versus
Special referee!
Dolph Ziggler beats champion Wade Barrett to claim the Million $$$ championship after mechanization from referee Bobby Heenan prove they had conspired against Barrett. This does the double-duty of generating heat for Ziggler (by heeling it up with Heenan and the Dynasty and stealing the belt) while officially turning Wade Barrett face. BCCW fans have been clamoring to cheer for the big man ever since he drove Ted Dibiase Jr from the organization. Post-match fans get a happy ending when Barrett chases the new Million $$$ champion Dolph Ziggler from the ring and hits a barbaric "Wasteland" on Bobby Heenan in the center of the ring.
Winner (and NEW Million $$$ champion): DOLPH ZIGGLER
(Million $$$ Championship match)_________________________________________________________
BLK MOBB versus USO's (w/ Tamina)
(Steel Cage match) versus
The Uso's, Jimmy and Jey, beat Sabian & Ruckus (BLK MOBB) via pinfall after stereo Superfly splashes off the top of the steel cage (punctuated by a post-match splash through a table by Tamina!) BLK MOBB had shown signs of miscommunication during the match, and wound up being overcome by BCCW's newest tag team flavor of the month. The Uso's sophisticated, college-educated street style was in direct contrast to the Mobb's ignorant G-swagger and the two teams put on an exhilarating series of matches. Feud ends tonight with the BLK MOBB once again being stretchered out of the arena at the hands of Jimmy, Jey & Tamina.
Winners: THE USO's (w/ Tamina) ____________________________________________________________
Jake "the Snake" Roberts takes the ring with his Triple C's conglomeration ("Crooked Cannibal Cartel") and cuts a promo. "Sick" Nick Mondo, Madman Pondo, Thumbtack Jack (who is now leashed to) Pogo the Clown and Serena all stand behind him in stone cold agreement. Standard "we're taking over BCCW" stuff. Suddenly, he is cut off by "Bad Street USA" and their challenge is answered by the rowdy Fabulous Freebirds! 3) FABULOUS FREEBIRDS versus TRIPLE C's (w/ Jake "the Snake" Roberts & Serena) versus
Officially competing for the Triple C's is Mondo, Pondo and Pogo the Clown. Fabulous Freebirds start the match hot and heavy, running through all their most popular babyface spots. Thumbtack Jack gets the worst of it and winds up hung over the top rope by his dog collar and leash. But eventually, the massive Pogo the Clown turns the tide on the Freebirds and the entire match quickly dissolves into a brutal, bloody, crowd-quieting beatdown on the Freebirds. Quick, merciless and utterly devastating. Freebirds are spike-piledrived, pillmanized and put through tables by the frenzied Triple C's. They send a frightening message to the rest of BCCW tonight by eradicating the legend of the Freebirds forever.
Winners: CROOKED CANNIBAL CARTEL _________________________________________________________
4) SHEAMUS versus ABDULLAH the BUTCHER (w/ The Grand Wizard)
(Chain Match) versus
Sheamus beats Abdullah the Butcher by chain choke-out submission in a violent, bloody brawl that spilled all over the Broken City Slaughtahouse. Sheamus has proven who the true Beast of BCCW is by single-handily destroying two of the biggest names in hardcore wrestling history and outsmarting their most devious mind. The Grand Wizard is left speechless in shock at matches end - the first time the legendary motor mouth has ever been silenced.
Winner: SHEAMUS _________________________________________________________
5) DAN SEVERN versus KEN SHAMROCK
(BCCW Shoot Fight) versus
Swerve. 5 minutes before match-time Ed "Strangler" Lewis announced that Shamrock suffered a cut in training and WILL NOT be participating in the match tonight (shades of his last second pull-out of the Kimbo Slice fight). Suddenly, an unprepared Desmond Wolfe is somehow brought into the equation and winds up getting thrown to the wolves by Strangler and Shamrock. Dan Severn smothers Desmond Wolfe into a quick submission, and then locks him in it until he rips the pectoral muscle right off the bone (shades of his old submission victory over D'Lo Brown that made him wear the chest protector). Desmond Wolfe has been permanently crippled at the hands of the "Beast" who stares daggers at Strangler & Shamrock as they drag Wolfe's broken carcass backstage. They look slightly intimidated.
Winner (by submission over Desmond Wolfe): DAN SEVERN _________________________________________________________
6) MIL MASCARAS versus CODY RHODES
(Mask Match - either Mascaras loses his, or Rhodes must wear one) versus
Cody Rhodes successfully unmasks the Mexican legend in arguably the best match of the night. The two opposing forces clashed on the mat and in the air, with the crowd vociferously behind each man. At one point, after a "Beautiful Disaster" strike from Rhodes left Mascaras stunned - he quickly unmasked Mil only to find him wearing a second mask! Mascaras earned the closest near fall of the night after hitting a stunning flying cross body block from the top rope to the arena floor on Rhodes. But the time it took for him to drag Rhodes' limp body into the ring cost him a precious victory. A Cross-Rhodes from Cody on a steel chair permitted him to pin Mascaras and then strip him of his mask. You never saw Mil's face, who covered it quickly with a towel and fled the country, but you certainly saw Cody Rhodes proudly brandishing the mask post-match like a hunter with a scalp, flashing his picture-perfect smile.
Winner: CODY RHODES _________________________________________________________
7) ALEXXIS NEVEAH versus ALOISIA THE AMAZON (w/ Lizzy Borden)
(WWW Championship) versus
Aloisia the Amazon dominates Alexxis in a quick, brutish squash to become the new WWW champion. It wasn't even fair this time around, Aloisia quickly overpowered, tossed and choke slammed Alexxis like a rag doll. Postmatch, Borden seductively straps the title belt around Aloisia's waist and crawls around and under her legs like a snake while Aloisia holds her both her arms aloft in victory. The 10th Wonder of the World has arrived.
Winner (and NEW WWW champion): ALOISIA the AMAZON!!! _________________________________________________________
8) HULK HOGAN (1987) versus TRIPLE H (2001) versus
"Mr Wonderful" = Triple H
"Steel cage" = BCCW ring The height of Hulkamania versus the depths of depravity (and terrifying reign of the McMahon-Helmsley era). Hulk Hogan wins clean via pinfall after the legdrop. Good, solid match between two legends in their prime. Displays of power come out mostly even, slightly favoring the Hulkster. So in a climatic moment of the match, Triple H clobbers Hogan with the sledgehammer drawing a river of blood. 1 - 2 ... KICK OUT! Kick wham PEDIGREE! 1 - 2... KICK OUT! HULK UP! YOUUUUUU!!!! Punches, punches, Irish-whip, big boot, legdrop. 1 - 2 - 3! Wave the American flag!!!
Winner: HULK HOGAN (1987) __________________________________________________________
9) TRUSTBUSTERS versus DUDLEY BOYZ
(BCCW Tag Team Championship) versus
The Dudley Boyz beat Lou Thesz & Jack Swagger to win the BCCW tag team titles. Exciting, back-n-forth match made even more lively by dueling chants from the audience (some favoring the Dudz, others cheering on the Trustbusters). Lou Thesz had been forced out of the ring by the referee, allowing the Dudz to use a double-team to overcome a "Catalina Wine Mixer" (gutwrench powerbomb) attempt by Swagger and drive the All-American American through the mat with a 3D for the pin. The Dudleyz have asserted themselves as the best tag team in history. Period.
Winners: (and NEW BCCW tag team champions): DUDLEY BOYZ _______________________________________________________
10) JOHN CENA versus TOOTS MONDT versus "NATURE BOY" BUDDY ROGERS
(World Title match and control of BCCW) versus
versus
John Cena retains the BCCW championship and gains control of BCCW after pinning Toots Mondt with a modified top-rope Attitude Adjustement. There was no cooperation between any of the men in this match and it led to a lot of tense, physical exchanges. Cena overcame a ringpost-assisted Figure 4 from Rogers and an omoplata (the unicorn of MMA manuevers) from Toots Mondt amongst other things. Later, he had Rogers tapping frantically to the STFU but the ref was tied up by Mondt. Postmatch, all the balloons and confetti "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers had positioned above the ring before the match (anticipating his own future win, like the 1969 LA Lakers) came raining down on the champ John Cena.
Winner (STILL BCCW champion and NEW BCCW owner): JOHN CENA
